Battle System
How the battle system on Cataclysm works might be different than most other sites. There are several different kinds of battle systems that will be listed here so be sure to read through the system carefully. The different battling systems that I will be going over are Street Fighting, Raids, War Stance (Offensive or Defensive):
Street Fighting:
What street fighting generally is more or less, is any kind of fighting that is done outside of the other types of battle systems. It is fighting that can happen in your home, in an office space, Etc, etc. Street fighting is usually always initiated by a posting member.
Raids:
War Stance (Defensive/Offensive):

There are several different kinds of battle systems that will be listed here so be sure to read through the system carefully. The different battling systems that I will be going over are Street Fighting, Raids, War Stance (Offensive or Defensive):
Street Fighting:
What street fighting generally is more or less, is any kind of fighting that is done outside of the other types of battle systems. It is fighting that can happen in your home, in an office space, Etc, etc. Street fighting is usually always initiated by a posting member.
- The maximum number of people that can partake in a street fight is four. No more than four people can participate in a street fight at a time.
- Street fights at a 48 hour waiting time when it is someone's turn to post but they haven't. We understand that things IRL happen, but if you initiate or agree to a Street fight we trust you finish it.
- We abide by a posting order in every single one of the battle system's. It helps keep track of who has done what and when they did such thing.
- Again street fights can literally happen anywhere so when you decide to initiate one you have to post [SF] in the topic title of your thread to let every know a fight is going on.
- Although street fights can get intense we ask that know death happens during one. We rather a member be killed on the war zone than in their own homes, however we know that isn't entirely realistic which is why the other battle styles make up for it.
Raids:
- Raids are ran by the organizations stationed throughout the leverage. A raid is primarily used to kill, steal and sometimes both. Organizations assign certain individuals to the task who they feel would fit the position right. Now the chosen member can choose to decline the offer, but keep in mind raids due promise some goods.
- When forming a raid, no less than 4 people can be apart of it. The more people the better to achieve whatever goal it is you are trying to achieve right?
- When forming a Raid do be aware that not all places can be raided. In fact you can find more information regarding this in the Cataclysm Library thread. Some area's have to high of a defense to be raided and someone places have no defense at all.
- When participating in a raid you have a total of 72hours to post again if your turn comes up before you are skipped until you post again. The same rule as what was discussed in the Street fighting segment.
- When posting a raid the topic title should be tagged with [RD] so players will know a raid is going down.
- Raids tend to be exclusive so unless you are apart of the organizations raiding, then you have no business in the post unless they are raiding something your organization owns.
War Stance (Defensive/Offensive):
- If you declare war or are defending yourself from other countries/territories do be aware that every country the one you are attacking is allied with and every country you are allied with, will be brought into the war as well.
- War doesn't always have to be country to country, territories can also be at war with one another.
- When going into war, the leader will have to state the objective, the targets, and how many people they will need starting off. We advise that the amount of people on both sides match so that it even's the odds but we understand everyone has their own battle strategy and we respect that.
- Defensive and offensive pretty much mean the position you will be partaking in this war. Although the topic title will say whether or not the main purpose of its creation was for Offense or defense, if you did not initiate the war but are wanting to partake in it, speak with one of the leaders in the war who you want to fight along side with, then post in the topic, tagging your post with either War [SO] or War [SD]
- You will only be given 48hrs to post if haven't when partaking in a war thread.
- Do be warned that if your society loses in the war you must give up one territory you own to the winning faction.
Race to the Shogi:
- Dogma, Halcyon, Nomads and Curet are all alerted about a Shogi spotted in a particular area and the leaders of each society send out 3 of their best men each(Gladiators of Halcyon, Pursuers of Dogma, or Remorsers of Curet), to go and capture the shogi for their own reasons.
- Societies can choose whether or not they want to partake in the event and have a total of 24hrs after the even starts to decide.
- The victors of the event receive the shogi and a random prize from the Mods or the Admins.
- These events are suggested to be fast paced, meaning you will only be granted a total of 24 hours to not post before you have to or you will be skipped until you post again.
- The Shogi being captured will either be an NPC or an actual Player wanting to put their character through hell.
